    I don’t agree with his definition that banning racist, unethical, and violent language (isn’t that who/what he is alluding to?) is the Social Credit system. What we have experienced in media in the last few years is not “social credit” or a loss of Rights; it is not allowing repugnant treatment of others. Such language has never been protected under the First Amendment.
    I equate these limits to when Gandalf tells the Balrog to “Go back to the Shadow!” Such attitudes and behaviors do not belong in the light and we cannot allow them to cross into being acceptable in a compassionate society.

    And wasn’t Fearmongering Step #1 done with the Patriot Act of the Bush era?

    The Chinese are truly implementing “social credit.”
